Would you or your company/organization like to support Habitat for Humanity Durham? There are several ways you can become involved!
Sponsor a home
You can change the lives of a local family by sponsoring any aspect of our building activity- from the windows of one house, to all of the carpentry work of a build project. You may also wish to provide the title sponsorship for an entire home – the ultimate level of sponsorship. Join us as we break ground, build the home, and hand over the keys to the new family at completion.

Sponsor a special event
We host many events throughout the year that provide sponsorship opportunities in different ways. See our fundraising events page for upcoming events.

Come Build with Us – Adopt-A-Day & Team Builds
We encourage Corporate and various Community groups to come out and build simple, decent, and affordable homes for Durham families. It is a creative way to promote team building or volunteerism within your organization. You can choose your own day to build on our CentreTowne buildsite. No tools or experience required! Please select HERE to request more information on your Build Day.
Host a Community Fundraising Event
If you’d like to mobilize your community to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity, there are countless ways to help!
You can host a fundraising event. Start a penny drive, hold a volleyball tournament at your school, or get creative and submit your own idea. Anything that gets your community involved in supporting Habitat for Humanity’s home builds!
Are you planning a wedding, retirement party, or other celebration? You can ask guests to donate to Habitat for Humanity Durham in your honour.
Are you embarking on an adventure? You can use your unique accomplishment as an opportunity to raise funds. Climb a mountain, bungee jump, or shave your head in honour of Habitat for Humanity!
Please contact us if you’d like to host a fundraising event.
