Women in Power Build
Our Women in Power Build encourages like-minded “Women in Power” in the Durham Region to participate in a day full of fun, activities, and building 4 new townhomes for local families in need!

Josh’s Pennies4Homes CampaignThe Penny House Campaign was born in 2013 by Josh Morrison of Uxbridge. At the ripe old age of 12, this young man knew he wanted to create hope by collecting donations to build a home for a family in need. His campaign builds houses 1 penny at a time.
To date(Sept. 2016), with the help of schools, community groups, individuals and business, Josh has raised over $30, 000. His goal is to raise $100k to build a home for a family in Oshawa at Habitat’s CentreTowne. Please help Josh reach his goal – DONATE ONLINE TODAY.
Third Party Initiatives

Gift-in-kind donors provide valuable products and services that help lessen the cost of building a home. Examples of these include (but are not limited to) roofing, lumber, windows, cabinetry, plumbing, and electrical materials. We also accept donations of land.
